How to Barbecue Vegetables

I discovered three more YouTube videos that are a good complement to my last post on how to prepare vegetables for a picnic. For those that haven't tried BBQ vegetables, you will be in for a treat when you include them in your next BBQ picnic, family cookout or Tailgating experience. I am posting the second video here:

The Vulcan is a Picnic Time original design and the ultimate picnic and tailgating cooler and propane barbecue set in one! Don't be fooled by other similar looking items on the market.

Only Picnic Time's Vulcan features a PVC cooler that conveniently nests inside the compartment that houses the portable propane BBQ. The tote can carry the BBQ and a fully-loaded cooler at the same time!

How to Prepare Vegetables for a Picnic

I ran across this YouTube video on how to prepare vegetables for a picnic, which would be great for those that don't eat meat but still enjoy picnics. My dietitian friends tell me that we should include more vegetables in our diet, and this looks like a good way to do it:

Over 400 Party Picnic Products are now on sale and there is a free shipping offer on all orders over $100 until January 1st, 2011.

A great gift idea for students and those that need to bring their lunch would be the Pranzo Insulated Lunch Box, which features isolated sections so you can separate your hot and cold food and drink items.

Here is a neat YouTube video which shows how to make Tapenade sandwich spread for your your picnic:

I noticed that sometimes there is a short ad before it gets into the demonstration.

Why not include a Canterbury Picnic Basket for Two to carry your Tapenade Sandwiches and other picnic goodies. The Canterbury is a suitcase-style willow basket with genuine leather straps, plush navy blue corduroy interior, and deluxe picnic and coffee service for two.

Our First Post

Hi! We would like to share with you up and coming "fun" picnic ideas, sites, recipes and much more. We will begin by sharing our most recent picnic outing.

Sunday we took a drive to our most favorite picnic place, high on Mt. Tamalpais (the Miwok Indians named her the "Sleeping Lady").  The hill is dry but it is most majestic, with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, East Bay, San Francisco Bay and San Francisco peeking out from the sweeping fog. You can see the twin peaks of Mt. Diablo at the center of the photo. It is about 30 miles east of where we were having our picnic.
